I forgive Burns the Chelo performance as He looked all wrong in there and wasnt doing the things that got him to where he is. It was quite weird to watch, actually.
I'd pick Broner to win but I think Burns brings some thing to the table that Broner hasn't seen.
Size, chin, solid jab, stamina.
It's still a fight I would like to see but despite the rumours I can't see Broner returning to 135.

If Broner fights and beats the best, people will forget the personality and focus on the skills. Right now, I'm doubtful he'll do that. Mayweather was cleaning out 130 by this point in his career. Broner's done nothing like that yet he acts like he should be every bit the star Big Bro is.

The difference between him and Mayweather at their respective stages of their career's is night and day.
He's acting like he's earned the right to be amongst the best fighters in the world but he truly has not.
He could easily have put some great notches on his belt too.
Why not go to Japan and beat Uchiyama?
Why not beat Salgado?
Why not rematch Ponce De Leon?
In fairness, he wanted the Burns fight so I can't fault him on that.
The Vasquez situation is very Mayweather-Casamayor esque so It's hard to tell where that one went wrong.
Point being, his resume so far is very lack luster whether his fault or not.

Gimme a Paul Williams any day of the week. Who just fights whoever is willing to sign on the dotted line. Goes in there and gives 100%, gets his hands raised in victory, or leaves on a stretcher. And when he loses, I don't have to make excuses.

Im really sick of catch weight talk....
These dudes are PROFESSIONALS, so if they sign on the dotted line i dont want to hear excuses.....
Maybe fighters should be like floyd and actually be in shape and not cut weight to gain an advantage.......
Seems to have worked out for him
