let me put it this way for you Floyd is fighting the less shitty version of Cotto and if the weight was no issue we would be talking about Pacquiao vs Cotto II right now

Meanwhile, Pacquiao is going to fight another undefeated prime fighter in Bradley. When Pac takes Bradley's 0 as well, Floyd goes into hiding forever, guaranteed!
No mannyweight is any other fighters best weight except for Manny. They're even. No more, no less.

Pacquiao didn't want to fight Cotto at 154.

          Cotto at 154 >>>>>>>>> Cotto at 145

After seeing the same arguments swirling around in this thread for awhile, I'd like to point something out: Margarito was not the first fighter to dish out a brutal beating to Cotto. Torres gets that honor. Cotto was on the verge of being stopped in that fight. Incidentally, Cotto moved up in weight and became a better fighter after that bout.

from a neutral standpoint, floyd is easily fighting the better version. plaster beating has worn off, coming off 3 good wins. very confident. obviously the weight is the biggest factor most of yall do not box and you have no clue how much that matters. 9 pounds can seem like a 50 lb difference in terms of how you feel physically. kinda clear when pac refuses to fight him anywhere near where floyd is fighting him.

                  The Floyd version.

Simply because he's fighting at his comfortable weight of 154

He isn't going to be forced to drain himself like in the Pacquiao fight. Remember that article that came up a few weeks ago? Pac said he'd fight Cotto again but ONLY under 150...aka 147 again

having said that, this is a legit fight, and i dont think floyd can beat cotto easily, i got cotto winning atleast 4 rounds in a 12 round fight..
LMAO Man Floyd is so good that him winning x8 rounds is not considered easy!!!!! LMAO!!!!

This will be an easy fight as Cotto is
                    A.) TOO ****IN SLOW...

B.) HE HAS NO DEFENSE WHATSOEVER.

This is teh reason why I never harped on him, but I do like him as he doesnt really talk **** and he does come to fight so you gotta like him on those grounds.... But this will be a bloody massacre.

I dont know what you guys have been watching but Floyd is actually getting ****ing stronger with each passing fight. That dude was ****in ortiz eye up prior to the 3rd round. This time Floyd isnt gonna have those big ass pillows on his hand like he did for the delahoya fight. Hes gonna be swifter with the punches and hes gonna hit harder. Hes throwing punches in bunches again as well... EXPECT A GOOD ASS WHOOPIN FOR COTTO....
