there are fighters that has won a tittle with only three fight (a Thai that was a kick boxing world Champ), Rigondeaux is a two time Olympic and World Champ that doesn't need 50 fights to challenged for a world Tittle, he prove it on his 6 or 7 fight that he was ready for the World, and with only 9 fight he has faced better competition than anybody with the same amount of fights, actually the combined record of those opponents are 195 Wins and 51 Loses, including two World Champs and one European Champ, ask Canelo how many Champs he has face in 40+ fights?

Rigo is correct, he is the Champ at 122, scientifically speaking.

You're right. But 9 fights is 9 fights.

I think Rigo is GREAT but it's not right to call a guy w/ 9 pro fights great.

Canelo is a hype job and Marquez is old. Mexico is short on true superstars at the moment. But Mexico still has a lot of world champions and depth.

Miguel Vazquez is their best boxer outside of Marquez imo. But he won't get much credit because of his style.

cuban boxing will never end because we are great athletes the day we stop as amateurs than wewill always have boxers coming overhere and becoming professional like people from other countries alot of our best boxers never crossed over to professional boxing so if we dont have amateur boxing in the future we will have every boxer as professionals
