No doubt, Rigondeaux is one of the best boxer I have ever seen. His natural defensive skills, best counterpuncher ever and his destroyful power can make any boxer in the ring just an ordinary boxer. Freddie Roach said it very well...anybody that goes into the ring with Ringondeaux is going to have a very big problem...and the worst that his opponents can't find him in the ring and all we'll get knocked out...with a body punch!

lol Donaire have no say in his career..."HIS WIFE" wears the pants in that family...no disrespect to Donaire, I actually like the guy but...I'M JUST SAYING!
kinda weird though that the Champion has to call out the challenger lol
this is what boxing has turned into SADLY
I have a feeling that Donaire stay at 122 will be a short one just like his stay at 118 was a short one and he avoided fighting the BEST in that division (Agbeko, Moreno, Mares), instead he picked the smallest the the weakest Champion in the division (Fernando Montiel) to fight then he ranLast edited by KnockUTheFukOut; 01-31-2012, 11:14 AM.Comment

Glad to read Guillermo intends to be more active this year. He just needs to win and win impressively. He'll get the fights he wants. Nonito's not afraid of "El Chacal," but he knows Rigo is a handful. Believe that!Comment

Cuban boxing thrived long before Castro, and it'll thrive long after he's gone. I'm certain you don't know this: Cuba had a world champion in boxing before Mexico. Kid Chocolate became a world champ in 1931; Baby Arizmendi won a world title in 1934. The Kid was an ATG before Castro took power, and he was followed by other Cuban ATGs.
Fidel actually killed professional boxing (and all pro sports) in Cuba. Our best fighters had to stick to the amateurs. But Cuban professional boxing is back...and it's here to stay.Comment
