He has fought the best competition he could throughout his career consistently with only a few softies in between, I don't see where the hate comes from.

If that's the case, why isn't Mayweather fighting Sanchenko, Pacquiao fighting Selcuk Aydin, and Martinez fighting Pirog? They don't bring jack moneywise. And I don't blame them. They earned the right to fight for the most money. Why does ranking matter, shot Margarito would beat plenty of ranked fighters at 154. Fighters are ranked by all types of organizations for all types of reasons doesn't mean they are good or anywhere near world class.

His fans are ******, annoying, and delusional. Now they're all businessmen, they use to be delusional warriors. Since Cotto didn't really turned out to be what they hyped him up to be, they're with the "it's all about the money, gotta love Cotto" talk. Pretty funny to those who witnessed the dumb Cotto fans here at the height of their glory in 07-08, compared to how they act now. They all look like a bunch of victims, asking for mercy.

Ok, so you don't like his fans. But what about the rest of my post? About him being lined up to fight the two best fighters in the world? And possibly Canelo, a ranked JMW you're clamoring so much about? As far as I see it, the only deviation he took against ranked opponents was Mayorga. You could argue about Marg, but the demand and financial success of that fight speaks for itself.

And I don't know why you complain about Cotto fans so much, Floyd fans can be more annoying and have been acting like businessmen for much longer.
