You said the above comment very nonchalantly, so I just want to make sure that you fully understand the difference b/w a world class BOXER versus a dude that plays BASKETBALL. You do realize that even in a street fight, Ortiz would tear Kobe a new a$$hole, right? This is not even up for discussion or debate even if one says, "oh but Kobe is 6'7" yada yada." You're talking about a world class boxer versus someone that doesn't fight for a living; e.g. Kobe. I don't think he was saying that, he was saying Kobe could pay someone else to beat Ortiz. Regardless, in a fight between the two imo if Kobe tries to stand and fight it's a straight KO by Ortiz but all bets are off if it goes to ground, boxing ability doesn't count so much on the deck (as James Toney found out).
