Mayweather will go to 154 for Cotto? But he can't go to 154 for Martinez? Martinez has to come down to 150 if he wants Mayweather, yet Mayweather says Pac fights weight drained opponents at catchweights and he doesn't. da ****kk?

I've never heard Mayweather say he won't go to 154. He was asked if he would fight Martinez if Sergio was willing to come down to 150 and he said yes he would.

ROACH clearly said in an interview that he doesn't want to give his boxer's opponent the edge, therefore they work out a weight limit for Pacquiao's advantage.

You do know that Floyd and Cotto fought at catchweights too.... Cotto made Margarito drop below 154 to defend his (Cotto's) 154 pound title and Floyd even came in heavy on his catchweight against a 135 pounder. LOL but u only blame Manny even though he has went up and down to make catchweight fights, so its not a one way street... So since you guys are saying Pac is a 154 pounder and should fight Cotto at that weight than why aren't you guys crapping on Marquez for making Manny go down to a catchweight??? no considering manny came in at 144.5 for a 150 fight i dont think manny was double weight drained to drop to 143 to fight marquez....he can easily make that weight. pac is more comfortable going from 145 to 143 than cottos is going from 154 to 147. ur logic is mediocre at best...nice try buddy maybe next time

The fact that you guys have to explain each time Manny wanted it a catchweight doesn't add anything to it's credibility. Manny was fighting for Cotto's title, he asked the champ to move down to 145 for what reason? Because as you say Manny was still "new" to the division, he didn't do it when he fought Diaz. Or when he moved to 130 why did he have to for Cotto? And you guys saying "it was only 1 or two pounds." Well if its ONLY one or two pounds then why even ask for a catchweight if it doesn't make a difference? You guys can't have it both ways, its one or the other.

I'm not even saying Cotto was drained at 145, but what I do think and what Manny's team obviously think is that Cotto at 150+ >>>>> 145/147 or whatever catchweight Manny wants. My God, Cotto's best strength is his size over Manny, making him lose 7 pounds takes that away. Also it wasn't like Cotto went to Manny, Arum said we can work with these 4 guys and Manny chose Cotto. Why? Because of the money nothing more, but only if he fights him at 147? As if Cotto is entitled to make things easy for Manny, which is exactly what they want. The reason he can say that now and not before is because he was under contract, now he can't be bossed around and he's letting people know it. Manny isn't necessarily Cotto's biggest payday, but because Arum refuses to do business with anyone else Manny's biggest payday is Cotto's. Even if Manny gets like 80/20 for Bradley they aren't getting the same PPV buys as Cotto even if people have seen it before. Manny doesn't have the pull he thought he did on Cotto because Arum isn't there to pull the strings.
