Cotto definitely has the ability to beat Floyd but I don't think he has the heart anymore. The Cotto that beat Judah, Torres, Paulie, Quintana that is the mental Cotto needed to beat Floyd, at least that's what I think. He doesn't have the warrior attitude anymore, he can box well but... I'm a major Cotto fan and even I know he isn't going to beat Floyd in a straight up boxing match.

He's going to need to get on Floyds ass, get a lil dirty take 3/4 shots and just grudge through it no backing up. Not every round, but at least a few and I don't know if he can do that, he likes to be more in/out now which is GREAT, but its now how he'll beat Floyd. If this was the Cotto that fought Margarito (speed, power, technique) as well as mental in terms off being undefeated off a Mosley win... I would take that Cotto to beat Floyd, essentially the one Floyd ducked really. But I'll give Floyd props now, its essentially "that" Cotto he'll fight as he looked great against Marg and now that loss and whole ordeal is over with. Just this Cotto has changed which ironically favors a fight with Pacquaio over Floyd IMO.

BAD For Cotto, he went down 2 pounds and 1 from what he normally weighed in at. Plus, why did Cotto ask Marg to go down to 150 before 153 became the agreed upon weight??? Pac just went down for Marquez.... If he doesn't want to go down cool... But the way he is talking seems like an excuse for the first fight, and it's even more silly once you realized Cotto in his last fight ask a fighter to come down and fight him at a catch weight. The Cotto vs Marg fight was at a catchweight demanded by Cotto... LOL Do these boxers think befor they talk????

I really don't understand why Team Pac alway feel the need to have an advantage over their opponents before stepping into the ring, Pac would still beat Cotto even at 154 so why do they alway ask to drain him?

I understand Cotto. After a beatdown he received against Pacquiao ... I wouldn't want to fight him again either.

Cotto is a proud man , he dont want to say he was weight drained , but you dont have to be real smart to see exactly what he is saying , Will not sacrifice my body AGAIN ,,,,, the truth about all of Pac fights from Diaz will come out , and when collectedly written in a history book it is not going to look real flash !

You wouldn't want a second beatdown for at least $10,000,000?

Well brah, if you watch the 24/7 cotto did have to starve himself to make 145. His comfortable weight is around 150-152...why cant pac fight him there?

This isnt bull**** on cotto's part, but bull**** on pac's part, as usual. Fight the fighter at his comfortable weight...theres a concept.
