I may not be a Pacquiao fan but the last time I checked, Marquez lost to Pacquiao twice and drawn once, so I don't think he has ever beaten Pacquiao.

    • Nice! Now get a Mayweather fight signed and done. That or try Canelo.

        Margo at 150
        De la Hoya at 147
        Cotto at 145
        Marquez 3 at 144

and dont get me started in a topic that for some reason people tend to forget...drug testing!
Remember Cotto said his in best shape of his life against Pac. Pac didn't force Cotto to fight at 145.
Fighting Oscar at 147, the ww limit, is not a cw. Pac moves up 2 weight division while Oscar move down 1. Its Oscar's fault lookng like that, in terms of weight. Oscar has millions of dollars to get a good sports trainer/nutritionist but didn't.
LOL at the Marquez at 144. JMM is the one who asked for that cw, not Pac.

        • Hopefully he holds firm. Clottey and Mosley, the other two WW's Pacquiao has fought, did not have to get catchweights and were allowed to fight at the divsion limit. I don't know if Cotto was drained, but to me that shows what was trying to be done to Miguel before the fight.

                • GOOD for Cotto! Don't give into catch weights. Let the fight at the legit weight limit!

                  • If Cotto fights Floyd, then he needs to go back to Emanuel Steward. He would have his best chance of winning. Steward knows how to disect a fighter's style. He can finds Floyd's weaknesses and exploit them. Cotto has all the ability and intangibles to beat Floyd, but right now doesn't have the corner. This fight is capable of being very interesting.

i think we all know why my man, camp pacman want the next best thing to be the first best thing. weight. if a man has to give weight, it can and will impair his ability to move, develope power,he can get dizzy,be sluggish and any one of these things can edge a fighter who is not as good in front.
if you ask me, all this catch weight rubbish is bollocks.
in 1909 a man from grand rapids called stanley ketchell(who was a middleweight)
fought the great jack johnson(who was a heavyweight) both in their respective weight classes with no catchweight nonsense.
as the fight unfolded, it shows ketchell put johnson on the canvas with a sneaky shot, johnson immediately got up absolutely livid and kod ketchel with the very next punch thrown.
some boxing experts have suggested it may have been the hardest punch ever thrown in a ring as johnson had to brush a number of ketchels teeth off from his glove just after the ko.
check it out, and watch for the glove thing: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hDregCdwP38
