cotto >150 will have more stamina, power not to mention he has a good trainer rather than one of his best friends who couldnt give him any advise when faced with adversity he didnt anticipate on. from the 5th round on cotto was in survival mode and his punches didnt have anything behind them

not saying cotto will beat pac >150 but he will look much better. hell...he did better against pac than any welterweight did, he busted his eardrum with the little punches he landed

You right, he went from saying he felt great at the weight to he sacrificed his body making the weight.

I hope Cotto stays firm on his word and doesn't give any special concessions to this piece of clown. The first time Cotto was forced to fight under Pacquiao's rules. I hope it won't happen again. I think that if Cotto's not drained and with the right training by his new trainer, the result wouldn't be the same.

dude should simply reject the fight, stop making excuses. He's doing us a favor by not backing down, but the butthurtness needs to be cast aside
How can Cotto have gotten a career best of 12m when Pac got his highest purse of 7.4m in that fight, when Pac is supposed to be the cash cow?

            Does that make sense?

Or is that just the purse that he (Pac) got? And not including gate. ppv etc.

Cotto weighed 146 against Clottey, he had to make 145, WOOOOW, I guess 1 pound drained this poor miguel to death...

Team Pac are ******ed cuz this catchweight was useless...but it gives bullets to Manny's haters...Marquecitas, *****s and anybody who eat chicken lol

have you ever heard a fighter say anything negative before the fight?

It's possible that Miguel said that just to go with it and not show weakness. Had he let on that he struggled with the weight it would of certainly helped Mannys game plan. Now that the fight is talked about again he is making sure that everyone knows he can't make that weight now, and probably shouldn't of been at that weight 2 years ago.

he never said that, not the way ure saying it...if anyone remembers or is willing to use the search function cotto wouldnt budge from fighting below 147 until there was more incentive for him to do so: money

he however never said he was happy about the situation ("felt great") which is why he turned to roach during the weigh in as if it was an accomplishment he made the weight
