Too much speed and Cotto likes to exchange.

It will look similar to the first except Cotto will play it safe and make it to the 12th without as much damage done or dealt.

Today's Cotto loses to Mayweather as well.
Totally correct! I am glad Cotto is standing up for himself but even at 154would not help him. Cotto is a stand up guy, he is a warrior but being a true boxer he is not! Come on people! Why is pacquiao team selecting Cotto to begin with? Remember Freddie Roach " we have to give Marquez a rematch, it would not be right if we didnt give him a rematch"
Pacquiao should give Marquez a rematch, period! Even Bob Arum went to Marquez at the end of the fight\, after Pacquaio was declared winner and sort of apologize to him saying and quote "it is just business"

Do you expect him to say "145 has takin a toll on my body, im very weak. I wont be 100% for the fight that's for sure" going into that big of a fight?

He said it after the fight though. But, it doesn't matter. I hope the rematch doesn't happen. And, if it does Pac wins again and it would be a waste of time.

You are like the other Cotto haters on here. If Cotto made 146 for Clottey he shouldn't have a problem making 145 for Manny right? Well didn't Margarito just fight at 150, Cotto was just asking the guy to fight him at the same weight, what's the issue? Hypocrites all of you, just changing your side to fit the way you would like at the time, nothing more.

Jesus, even stans aren't that bad. Cotto agreed to 145, so him saying weight was an issue means nothing to me he agreed to it, simple. But, to say that he is just as good at 145 than he is at 150+ is BULL****, if that was the case Manny would fight him at any weight its that simple.

Truth to be said, even a 154 Cotto will lose to Pacquiao. Real boxing fans know that Cotto's style is wrong for Pacquaio. Cotto is a warrior and deserves all the respect in the world but he is not a true boxer. Cotto will lose a decision by running the entire fight and would get ko if he stands up to Pacquaio. Cotto has no head movement, he does not know how to walk the ring against a south paw like Pacquiao. There is a reason why out of the bunch, Cotto is the one being picked.
Pacquiao is a very nice fairy tale! That is it! Nice fellow, but he is not an atg like Arum is trying to sell him. With all the advantages in the world and he could not beat JMM. If team Pacquaio has any dignity, they would give a rematch to Marquez who in 90% of the people that watched the fight, beat Pacquiao.

If real boxing fans know Pacquiao can beat Cotto at any weight, shouldn't the man himself and team know this and just fight Cotto at 150 instead of demanding 147? Like other people have said, I don't understand it.

How fucking funny!!! You praise Cotto for doing the same shit. Did you know idiot that Cotto had a catch weight fight in his last bout? Double standard fans. No wonder more people are starting to see the biased bullshit I've been saying for a while now. You guys are a "boxer" fan and not boxing fans.

I think a lot of you missed the point of what Cotto was getting at.

Clearly for him to fight paq at 147 when he has been fighting at 150+ clearly gives the advantage to paqman. Even if he could still make 147 why should he come down? He is the Junior middle weight champ coming off of a big win with options. He is a draw in New york so he doesn't feel the need to come down unless the money is right because if its not why not stay at 154 and fight floyd, canelo, or chavez junior? He is at the point where unless there is big money involved there would be no reason for him to go down in weight when he has lucrative options at 154
