Don't see the excuses. I'm sure it was somewhat difficult for him to make 145. I don't think it drained him and made him lose...but I'm sure it wasn't easy to make the weight. And he's saying after he's seen Pacquiao fight everyone else at fair weights he wants the same treatment.

Don't see him insinuating that he lost because he had to fight at 145.

That's right Miguel, don't allow yourself to be weight drained again. If Pacquiao wants to fight Cotto, it should be at 154 or 153 (which is the catchweight with Cheato) because that's Miguel's comfortable weight. If Pacquiao doesn't want to fight above 147, then bloody hell don't, just find another fighter.

            Open Letter To M. Cotto:

            Dear Cotto:

Your'e the only one on the planet that can make Floyd and Manny fight each and all you have to do is to refuse to fight either one.

That's right, if you refuse to fight either one then the have to fight each other because there is no one else to fight, particularly at this late date.

Here's another angle -- don't make an immediate decision. Just string them along for, say, another month and then, at the last minute, ask for $25 million guaranteed. That should do the trick. They will reject your offer and then have to fight each other.

So, you the man, Cotto. Don't punk out and let them buy you for 5 or ten mill. Stick to your guns and make that fight happen.

            Thanks in advance, bro.

It was nearly 3 years ago when Margarito brutally destroyed Cotto and made him quit in the ring. What do you expect? Cotto has never been the same since.

Much how Hatton's head was never the same when Mayweather sent him on a date with that whore of a ring post back in 2007.

After Mayweather destroyed Hatton, Floyd's haters (*******s didn't exist then) called Hatton a bum/never has been/ etc etc etc etc.. Hatton was done and went on a stream of fighting bums and then Pac fought him. The Pac Hatton fight validated my point 100% that Hatton was done.

These guys first loses took a mental tole on them and have never been the same since.. even to this day.

There seems to be a lot of people here who were condemning Pac for fighting at cw but are now advocating for it this time. Agreeing to 150 against Cotto is still at a cw.
Just wondering what changed these people's minds.

In all actuality nobody wants to see Cotto fight Pac or Mayweather at 147-154. Nobody beats Mayweather from 140-154 and Pac already beat Cotto who was never the same after Margarito destroyed him...

Just like Margarito has never been the same since Mosley destroyed him. Which allowed Cotto to get that revenge on Marg.

These fighters where never the same. Which is exactly like Hatton's case. Once Mayweather sent him on a date with that whore of a ring post, he was done and the pac fight validated my point which I had made back in 2007. Well before *******s even existed let alone talked about Pac fighting Hatton.

lol yeah rite knee-guel. careful, u dont want to upset master arum.
he will give in to all of pacmans demands and serve as fodder to make him look good to the fans again after the marquez mess.
cotto hasnt done anything in boxing, his standing is mostly due to popularity and peoples desperate desire for a great pr fighter, which there truly hasnt been since trinidad.
cottos next couple of fights will determine his standing not only in the rican boxing community, his boxing legacy as well.
he needs to forget about this and do the mayweather fight, and if he looks solid and dominant, ONLY THEN does the pacman rematch make sense.

Cotto beats pac at 150-154...pac is not the same as he was when they fought the first time...n I see cotto giving Floyd a more competitive fight then pac.
