Because take away the names and ask anyone on which would they rather have. Be a champion in 6 divisions or 2? Pretty sure I'd pick the 6.

If you don't agree then take it how you want it.

      missing

im not a hopkins fan but he probably should be on the top 50 list even if how he won sometimes was cheap, and so should manny pacquiao since he destroyed de la hoya and has broken many records even if they were kinda cheap with catch weight none the less that's boxing

Why in **** would you do that? Greatness isn't directly measured by how many titles you obtain.

Besides DLH was a champion in 3 divisions, 2 of those being from the younger divisions.

Yes it is because it's part of his accomplishments. You're missing 3 divisions. Obviously you need help with math.

If a man has won belts in 6 divisions and very few people have been able to do the same achievement EVEN TODAY. He deserves to be an ATG.

And why would you only look at that part of his accomplishments?

Ahhh okay, someone can't distinguish between a legitimate world champion and a glorified contender.

It's not the only thing but I'm using it as an example. Especially since not many people can do something like that. Some things stand out more than others you could say.

LOL @ taking away the names! Genius post of the year! Sven Ottke 21 title defenses >>>> Hopkins 20 (if we take away the names). Which would you rather have 21 or 20? No brainer! Do the math! Thus Ottke top 50 all time!

Ali only had belts in ONE WEIGHT CLASS. 6 >>>> 1, therefor ODH is greater than Ali (who cares about the names right? It's about simple mathematics!)

NSB logic never fails to surprise me!

He probably did not include active fighters.

                      The Top 10 is ok.

                      After that it's pretty poor.
