He's avoiding Moreno....Nah let me stop LOL. I DO realize Moreno priced himself out last year for a Nonito fight (didn't he? I remember they were in talks), but he's got a strap now. make it happen

Rigondeaux, he's a no name, but Omar Narvaez, he's BIG TIME and that's why Team Donaire and Arum chose to make that fight.

All sarcasm aside, it's really funny how Garcia, Arum, and Nonito say "No one knows who Rigondeaux is", but yet they are coming off fighting OMAR F**KING NARVAEZ, who NO ONE knows outside of hardcore fans.

They just don't want to risk Nonito "I fight smaller guys every 5 seconds" Donaire against someone at 122 that can actually beat him.
Narvaez and Rigondeaux are both unknown to the casual fan; the difference is simply that Omar posed no threat, while Rigo does. It's really that simple. But no one is going to come out and say, "A Rigondeaux fight is too risky, so we're gonna pass." It's just another day at the office....

Garcia was saying AFTER Vazquez, assuming Donaire wins, they still wouldn't fight Rigondeaux because they want to "go after the Jorge Arce's and the JuanMa's" of the world.

Narvaez is more established than Rigondeaux, though. Rigo has nine fights and just won a title while Narvaez has over nine title defenses.

But then again rigondeaux has those crippling body shots, so it should be an interesting fight.
Rigondeaux needs someone to come at him to be exciting. Ramos got a taste the 1st round, and flat out refused to engage. When he tried to again in the 6th, he got KO'd.

It's a 50/50 fight, but everyone involved with Donaire, himself included, have ZERO INTEREST in fighting Rigo. Donaire fought a tiny Narvaez, who doesn't even throw ANYTHING back, and couldn't get him out of there. It wouldn't be like that against Rigo. If Nonito comes forward to Rigo, then Rigo will counter and throw. That's why it's interesting. No way does Nonito try to out-box Rigo, not in amillion years.

Donaire-Rigondeaux is the fight at 122.

A troll??? No, just spitting the truth. You should look at it like this.....

Nonito is having his first fight at 122 in a couple weeks and his handlers and trainer are already mapping out their plan to avoid Rigo. They said they aren't even considering fighting Rigondeaux. The f**k you call that????

I want to see Donaire fight Vasquez in Feb and than probably Arce in June. Rigo could fight Nishioka in June or July. Than, have a Donaire-Rigo showdown in the Fall. But, that won't happen. It would be SOOOO EASY to put together....if Bob Arum and Team Donaire wanted to. But they don't.

They seem to be trying to groom Nonito as the next Pacquiao, jumping weight classes and such. But, I just see him as very overrated after knocking out Montiel. Do you really think Nonito is #4 P4P in the world???
No i dont think hes overrated. His resume aint all that but still i think its better than freakin Gamboa's, and you seem to be on his team.

But yea i dont like the vazquez fight, hes going to blow right through him. Now i do want to see the fight dont get me wrong, Rigo's style is all wrong for Donaire, but i can see it happening down the road, maybe at 126.

You're right, but the TS is criticizing the recent comments that Robert Garcia, Nonito's trainer, made about a possible fight with Rigondeaux. TS is not trolling.

yeah moreno priced himself out...they're in different weight now though so i don't know if that fight could still happen. probably not even if moreno moves up...donaire is with top rank and moreno is gbp. would have been a good fight.

I didn't ask you if you thought he's overrated, I said I though he's overrated after the Montiel win. I asked you if you think Donaire is really the #4 P4P fighter in the world???

I agree with you though. I just also don't see the point in fighting the loser of Vasquez-Arce. Down the road, the hardcore Donaire haters will lable that fight as "Well, he fought Wilfredo Vasqeuz, which was a decent win, but Vasquez had just been beaten by Arce just prior to that fight".
