add up all the pinoys that made it onto the lists from 1920's and forward and compare it to the total of mexicans and puerto ricans and you will surely see a difference

viloria is well into his career and it still has a question mark on it, whereas demarco vazquez etc are young guys who are still contenders. wether the belts they have mean anything or if they even deserved it is a debate for another day

puerto rico got 43 total champions

phillippines got 36 total champion

but guess what , phillipines is still one of the top boxing champion producing countries along with the US ofcourse, britain , japan, thailand, s korea, argentina, colombia, venezuela...

only 3 countries have fighter of the dcade tho and that is US, panama and the phillippines....
