I'm in agreement that Floyd was coming out looking like the good guy this time around. Said all the right things, begged for the fight, called out Arum and now this? What he should of done was call their bluff, take the 50/50 and see if they still want the May 5th fight. That would have been the smart thing to do.

My thing is, the way both of them are set up from a business standpoint, Mayweather would make more money anyway, correct? So why not go 50/50 Floyd? That way Manny and his team has even more heat on them to get the fight done for May 5. This is ******, flat out.

That's the thing..... this has not played out yet.

Mayweather called Pac out TWICE on issues that have played out, the OSDT's and the money..... let's wait until this plays out because the issue is still the date, not the split.

If they agree to the split, the fight will not happen because they will not agree on the date..... and because this has not yet played out it is possible (even highly likely) that this is just leverage on the date.

The split is likely Mayweather's only leverage on the date, we will know in the next few days.

Mayweather called out Pac twice, the score is 2-0 to Mayweather.

But if the split issue is not leverage, then Mayweather just ***ed up big time.

We need to wait and see.

By not accepting May 5th they are saying you better either fight on our date or give us the 50/50.

You cant have both. Arum knew all along. If they got the 50/50 then the May 5th is on. If they dont get the 50/50 then its late May. The man is scum but hes a genius.

The bottom line is still.....

If Team Pacquiao really wanted that fight like they have claimed over the last two years, then they would have agreed to May 5th.

May 5th is the VERY BEST date for that fight, and the MGM is likely the VERY BEST venue.

Especially considering that Manny said..... "making the fight is more important than the money".

But Mayweather needs to publicly address this, or publicly state that he is willing to accept 50/50 if Pacquiao will fight on May 5th..... or else he is starting to look like a b1tch, just like he made Team Pacquiao look over the last 2 weeks..... the ball is in his court.

Mayweather redeems himself and goes back to wearing the white hat if he says 50/50 is the split if on may 5. I agree. I find it highly unlikely that he'll do that though. Concession does not appear to be in his dna. That's why it is always better to let someone else handle negotiations. As they say when an attorney represents himself: he has a fool for a client. He has agreed to a 50/50 split since 2009.

Mayweather is going to jail on June 1st, not Manny.

But here is your main problem.....

FACT: May 5th is the VERY BEST date for that fight, no question, and Bob Arum's collection of ridiculous excuses have been absurd..... cuts, investors, dates, guarantee's, venues..... let's not forget how or why we got here, and this recent issue hasn't played out yet.
