I could care less what floyd gets. But let's face it, Pac's stock dropped after the Marquez fight. AND! The motherfuc-er's trying to act all gangsta n' sh-t saying " I'll take less! Just to make the fight!" Manny needs to sac up! For real!

No wonder Arum isn't playing ball with this clown.
" I guess they can leave it, because Floyd can still fight Canelo and Martinez, make the same amount of money fighting Manny, and make history.

what's Manny's options? Proving he can finally beat Marquez or Cotto a 2nd time and still take short money?"

Again, it's a bytch move for Manny to all of a sudden go against what he said and ask for a 50/50 (he shouldn't have said he'd take less anyways) but Floyd should accept the 50/50 because that's what he thought the split was going to be at the time when he first called Manny out. On top of that it's petty as ****. After Floyd beats him he can demand 70% in the rematch.
Again, I have no qualms with that and I agree that it's petty and Mayweather should just do 50/50... I just find it funny that the same goofs that post here riding guy are complaining about this while conveniently dismissing the fact the he stated that he'd take the smaller purse.... just like he stated he'd agree [and would later lie about agreeing] to testing.

There won't be a rematch because Mayweather would slaughter the guy. It's hard enough to get the guy to fight him once. Unless it involves subpoena.

            Easy solution

60/40 winner gets 60. Either of them have the balls to do this?

              True, but.....

Come on, that lil tweet confirmed nothing, I want a statement.

The tweet confirms that Mayweather has chosen to call Pac out on his offer to take less money, it does not confirm the e-mail (although it sounds more likely now) and it does not confirm Mayweather's bottom line.

It is a typical tweet negotiation that has not yet played out.

The issue up until the phone call between Mayweather and Pacquiao has ALWAYS been the date. Knowing that Mayweather has an appointment with the legal system is the only back door that Bob Arum has had. The cut excuse didn't work, the investor excuse didn't work, the guarantee excuse didn't work, the stadium excuse didn't work.....

Mayweather needs that date, I think he's locked in with MGM, it is likely that the split is his only leverage to corner Arum.

Either that or he is an idiot who just fumbled the ball, unopposed, 1 meter short of a touchdown.

There is not enough info on the table, this hasn't played out yet.
