The email story makes no sense at all. Why would Floyd out of the blue email to say the fight is even more in jeopardy because of purse concerns and him not accepting? Makes absolutely no sense what so ever. Im more inclined to believe those were from someone at top rank working on a pr spin. Its obvious bob is desperate for some positive press at the moment, and you cant forget his shady past...

Arum saying "apparently floyd doesn't want 50/50" doesn't sound too reassuring, surely if he was involved and really wanted this fight he would know for sure... The email could be true or could be false, we'll see.

For Arum to even consider a 50-50 split (let alone act as if he'd accept it), he has to be in a position of disadvantage (whether slight or substantial). Arum wouldn't give in to a 50-50 split if he were in an advantageous position, he's too shrewd (and greedy) of a businessman.

If Arum had Mayweather, the betting favorite and fighter that has collected more revenue, in his stable and Pacquiao were in Mayweather's position, the fight would've been made already and he would be asking for a better than 50-50 split also.

Are you moronic? The contract is a fixed sum. It doesn't include PPV revenue because it's unknown at that point how many PPV sales the fight is going to make.

Do you think Floyd Mayweather's contracts say that he is going to make $40,000,000 for his fight? Uhh, no.

There is a panoply of sources online to verify that Manny made $20-30 million for the fight (USA Today, ESPN, ABC...). I'm sure you can find them. If you think he made $6 million - since you are so hung-up on the contrct - off a promotion that generated over 70 million dollars on DOMESTIC REVENUE ALONE (i.e. not counting Manny's huge international fanbase) you are truly in need of help.

You said he got a guarantee of 22 million for the Marquez fight. Show me proof he got a 22 million guarantee purse from Arum and TR.

When did I say he made a total of 6 million for the Marquez fight? All I'm saying is he did not make a 22 million guarantee for the Marquez fight, plus live gate, PPV sales, and sponsors. His actual guarantee was way less than 22 million.
