I don't like that at all. First off, how much does MArtinez cut to make 160, if he cuts any weight at all? Secondly, 150?? Why not 154?

Who cares if he's inexperienced. Or if he's been hyped up by HBO, it will only make Floyd look that much better if he wins.

Canelo will come in fight night with a great size advantage. He has good power, and decent speed. I didn't like Canelo at first, but I think now he's alright. I think a Sergio fight would be boring.
Martinez at 150 is still a better fighter than Canelo or Cotto is at any weight.
Except I don't think Sergio has fought at 150 in almost 10 years. Thats not a fight at all. Thats like Pac draining De La Hoya. I just think Floyd would get more credit for a Canelo at 154.

Wait, how is Sergio Martinez not a tougher opponent than Manny Pacquiao?

I mean if you going to throw in the Oscar example. Then we can't forget the Glen Johnson example who went back down to 168 after years at 175 and did OK. Beat Green, was somewhat competitive against Froch.

I just don't think Canelo is quite good as of yet. I really do believe that Martinez even at 150 is still a better fighter than Alvarez at 154. But, that's just what I think. Who knows, maybe you're right and the weight would affect him.

Floyd, that's a ****ing Pac move! Serge already said "no-way" at 150 and that's Pac saying buck50!

Damn, if Floyd fights Martinez...it trumps everything and anything but a Pacquiao fight.

If it happens at 150, then I just hope the fight is better than I expect.

Absolutely because Sergio called him out to fight at that weight and Sergio will still come into the fight weighing in the neighborhood of 165. Now let me ask you, do you think Floyd should fight Sergio coming in at 173+? Is that fair to a fighter that barely comes in weighing 150 on fight night?
