The only way to expand would be to build further out and higher up. Both of those options equals the same space close to the ring = the excess space will be of the worse seats = the cheapest seats.
do you realize none of us know the prices of the tickets if that fight ever happened...lots of things to consider but none of these is a factor that can negatively affect the revenue sales....
We don't know the ticket prices, fair point, but the excess space will be of the cheapest tickets. Not the average ticket price.

I don't know about the profit stuff, but having it in a stadium is still a good idea regardless. Doesn't seem fair to have the biggest fight in the world only available to the super rich exclusively. Let the plebeians come see it even if the seats are bad.

And it's not like they can do the stadium **** in november/december anyway. Las Vegas will be freezing.

No but we do know about basic math and the shape it could possibly use to generate space. Or are you suggesting they will build floating sections above the ring to make them charge premium for the tickets? The only way to expand would be to build further out and higher up. Both of those options equals the same space close to the ring = the excess space will be of the worse seats = the cheapest seats. Oh I'm sure it would make money. Just not close to the amount Bob Arum says. We don't know the ticket prices, fair point, but the excess space will be of the cheapest tickets. Not the average ticket price.
do you know the purpose of getting the average?...so that we can roughly estimate the tciket price no matter where it is, that's the purpose since we dont know how many seats are there for each ticket price, you get it?...

Where was the arena idea when bob put that countdown clock on his website?
He never said they needed a new arena then.
