So that's why he wants a huge arena? To help persuade another promoter that it's in their interest to fork over 40 mil? Didn't know that.

He said the gate could be 60 Million... meaning a extra 20 million for each. Cause the MGM Grand would only pull in 20 Million.

I paid 2000 for ok seats close to ringside at a fight once. There were about 150 seats in total where we were.

Yes, I think this is what he is saying as well. He's speaks in code and you have to sit there and really pay attention to what he says. By his quote yesterday saying "if Floyd comes to me, we can make the fight. I'd then share in his profits as well.".

IMO he's saying he's open to it, but he either wants to be paid to step aside...or wants promote it all himself and share in floyds revenue. It's an offer of sorts, I guess.

                Arum is so ridiculous.

An extra 20k seats = another 20k nosebleed seats.

Those seats will not hit $1k each from the brokers. Brokers been taking blood baths on this stuff since 2008 to be exact.

Even if each 20k bleed went for $1k that's $20 mil MINUS cost of building the thing which is 7-8 mil.

Anybody who believed Arum for a second isn't too bright.

Its an estimate, probably a horrible one too. But more people = more consessions, more memorabilia purchases, Possible more High dollar seats, luxury boxes, and a bunch of lousey seats that people will probably pay $250-$300 for.

I believe his estimate was all gross too, not including staff, building, big screen tvs and etc. Although alot of that could be sold back to someone.
