They would be united considering how they seem to be on the same page in regards to ducking Floyd. Bob Arum commanded his lapdog to roll over and play dead.

GET THE FIGHT DONE!!!!!!!!!!

Manny has been called out but he's hiding behind his promoter and your trying to defend him so what does that make you? I'm just saying. It is what it is. The name calling by you is ignorant and unimpressive just tell your cowardly, b!tchass hero to sign for May 5th so we can get this BS over with. don't worry It'll be quick and simple.Last edited by PAC-BOY; 01-12-2012, 02:30 PM.

Didn't Pacquiao say prior that he would take less money to make the fight happen? Now all of a sudden Floyd has to find a promoter to guarantee him 40MIL? Arum said "Oscar and Golden Boy can't cover Floyd so the fight won't happen, so it's on Floyd? Arum has officially and totally diminished Manny Pacquiao image and legacy no matter how many Pac supporters try to bend this. Fight ain't happening. All the boxing journalists and sport reporters need to stop covering this non sense.

Yes I did but in this case it is warranted. Floyd is calling Manny out and calling him a punk isn't he? That is what this post is all about isn't it? It's not about Floyd's case but his calling your hero out to fight while your hero makes excuses (from behind his promoter of course). Sounds like a b!tchass coward to me. I'm just saying

That being said, Pacquiao's people have given two valid reasons why a late May fight is the only option: Money (through further promotion and outside ring) and Cuts (Manny won't be cleared to spar until too close to the May 5 date). What is Mayweather's justification for not fighting late in May? I haven't heard one. Does he have one? Or is he refusing to do it simply because he wants to dictate May 5? I don't know, but I think it is the latter.
Regardless, it is interesting that Mayweather demanded this fight after watching Pacquiao look very beatable against Marquez. That is very disappointing. Pacquaio looks to have faded (which is not surprising given the wars he's been in, his age and the weight he's put on). It is a disservice to all boxing fans that Mayweather wouldn't fight Pacquiao in his prime, but waited until he began his decline. Well, not really surprising though. Mayweather has never beaten a hall of famer in his prime, has he? It is hard to lose you zero when you refuse to fight the best. If he retires undefeated, he's going to smell a lot like Joe Calzaghe to me. How impressive were Calzaghe's wins against faded RJJ and Bernard? Almost as impressive as Floyd's against ODLH and Sugar Shane Mosley.
Hell, I'd much rather see Mayweather fight Martinez now rather than Pacquiao. I think that'd be a much more interesting fight.

Very cool article describing Floyds business model in detail.

That's what they're saying. Crazy if you ask me. Floyd made 40 mil for the Ortiz fight alone. If anyone thinks that finding a promoter to guarantee 25mil for a fight that will net 80-100 mil then they have no business sense
