Bob Arum tells SI from Philippines that if @FloydMayweather accepts a 50-50 split and can guarantee his half, Pacquiao can fight in late May. Arum says Mayweather is "Plan A" for Pacquiao. Says he doesn't like the idea of doing the fight at the MGM Grand but will do it. Arum says he is guaranteeing Pacquiao's half, if someone guarantees Floyd's the fight "can be made in ten minutes." Arum says if the framework of a deal with Mayweather isn't in place by Saturday, Pacquiao will pick from the Cotto/Bradley/JMM/Peterson list.

yea this basically nulls all the excuses Bob has made.

Pac couldn't fight on may fifth because of:

1- The cut needing 5 months to heal.
2- Building a stadium.

1- was cleared up by pac stating the cut is not an issue (duh).
2- is now cleared as it seems Arum is fine with it being at MGM, just not on may fifth (for whatever reason).

Arum is trying his hardest to turn things around but he doesn't understand he has truley buried any credibility that he and Team Pac once had in terms of who is to blame for the fight.

No matter what he say's, he contradicts himself.
