But...but..that means he's fighting Morales, Matthew Hatton...or Nate Campbell. I know it's true because Arum and anonymous sources said so!

Floyd is now ducking Robert Guerrero.

In other breaking news, Bob Arum may have been lying.

I never thought this fight would happen.

After the Marquez fight, Mayweather got a lot of stick for "fighting smaller guys". It even got to a stage where people said he "Always fight's smaller guys" (Obvious bull****)

But the fact is, Mayweather doesn't fight guys at the calibur of Guererro. Atleast not since he made it to the top. Which is why I always thought this fight wouldn't happen.

I don't think it will be Canelo either.

And as it stands, Cotto even looks unlikely

So, I'm really not sure who it's going to be.

I don't like any options other than Pac and Martinez but it seems none of those can happen so the best option for me but I still don't like it, is Cotto.

Martinez is the only other good fight. I agree.

this just proves that trashtalking and fighting off a keyboard doesn't impress the best boxer on the planet. a lot of boxers need to take note.

One thing we know is that a LOT of names get thrown around in regard to Floyd Mayweather's possible opponents. Just in the near three years I've been on BoxingScene we've heard Matt Hatton, Paulie Malignaggi, Paul Spadafora, and Nate Campbell, and that's just off the top of my head. After the Spadafora rumor last year, and Ortiz being his opponent when Floyd was saying they never talked and it wasn't happening, we should all just wait for Floyd to say "I'm fighting ___" before reacting to anything.

I never do anyway. I always have an idea who it's going to be and normally I get it.

Really not sure at this point, though.

I never ever believe things like Matthew Hatton and so forth. People literally just make those up so he gets bad press. Sad, really.

And when M.Hatton said Mayweather contacted him. It's just clear as day bull****. No one would or should ever believe that.

The funny thing is, last year, people behind the scenes were actually saying Spadafora was an actual strong possibilty. I mean, I just cannot see that. And I refuse to believe it.

Guerrero and Canelo I actually have a bad feeling about. I fear they're both possile match-ups for some reason.

                      I hope not.
