Theres a million guys just like him in gyms all over the US.
Fairly well balanced style, neither too much of a boxer or too much of a puncher. He is certainly not what you would call durable, but is not overly fragile either. He appears to have 2 or 3 "pet" moves that he really likes, and will stick and move until he can find these 2 or 3 comfort zones. He gives it much, much better than he takes it and he will have trouble finding an "optimum"weight class, especially in the modern age of weight cutting. 160 to 175 is a meat-grinder of a weight class where the risks often outweigh the rewards
I've seen it before, ages 15-18 this kid had everything he needed to be a top competitive amateur but he won't go as far in the pros. He has the style and characteristics to be the life-blood of a big city gym but he himself is not star material. He is better off as a sharpening stone for a more complete boxer with a champions mindset, which I believe happened with his brother andre. I understand he overcame cancer and he is the brother of another visible if not yet accomplished boxer who came with a lot of hype of the bat, so there are reasons why he is getting attention. There are however no reasons to believe he could beat andre ward, who just got done proving himself but is apparently already being doubted
