Anthony Ward about to get ko'ed!

I can't say that I've ever heard of Anthony Ward.

he's a fabulous boxer. He has the power of mike tyson, the defense of floyd mayweather, the ring smarts of bernard hopkins, the speed of manny pacquiao and the chin of marvin hagler.

I think that even after just 1 year of being a boxing fan, you should learn that being more powerful than your opponent means nothing. I'm not saying you, just in general.

Some of the best fighters right now are not powerful at all. Mayweather, Ward, Hopkins, Bradley.

You have your Martinez, Pacquiao, and Klitschkos but even they have to try to outbox their opponent before getting the KO. And sometimes they don't even get the KO.

So Anthony Dirrells power means nothing to Ward if he can't even outbox him first.

#1 To me Ward isnt that great a boxer. He gets hit to often. Even a slow mythodical robot Froch was able to hit Ward. Ward jumps around and rushes in like a wild amerture, most times he charges in head first. This will not work on Anthony D. Ever heard of the half step. Anthony will catch Ward coming in i'll bet you any amount of $. Ward was able to get away with those ruff house tactics against Froch,abraham,Kessler, none of which are smooth fast handed boxers. Those guys really are not atheletic either. Ward will loose by ko if he has the balls to fight his mandatory. I have yet heard him even mention his mandoatory, in Anthony Dirrell. That in it self speaks volumes about his concern. If he vacates his belt and give it to Anthony in stead of fighting him , that will even tell more of the story. Lets see what he chooses to do. I dont think Ward will face him. Hes gonna do everything possible to avoid fighting Anthony dirrell.

You don't know what Anthony Dirrell fights like on the inside. As athletic as Dirrell is, he's very stiff. Fight's flat-footed, doesn't throw in combination as often as his brother and his chin is largely untested. Andre Ward is battle tested. That's all I'm saying. Is it possible Anthony can win? Yes, maybe. But he certainly hasn't fought anyone to convince me for certain that he would.

what has anthony dirrell done to make you or anyone else believe he can beat ward? Like Imdazed said, have him beat a ranked contender then we can talk. Until then, as far as I'm concerned the only dirrell worth a damn is andre dirrell, as he's proven he's a top fighter at 168.


and LOL @ andre ward having a glass jaw. If he's so open to be hit like you said, and if he truly had a glass jaw he wouldn't be undefeated right now. He wouldn't have been able to go through froch, abraham, bika, & kessler with a glass jaw. Ward is a proven fighter, anthony dirrell is not.
