Anthony Ward about to get ko'ed!

With Bute out of the picture due to venue and problems with his low quality opposition, the only guy remaining is Anthony Dirrell (24-0, 21 KO’s). He’s Ward’s WBC number #1 challenger and recently stopped Renan St Juste in the 4th round to earn the shot against Ward. Dirrell, like his older brother Andre, has amazing hand speed and excellent power. He’s not as good defensively as Andre Dirrell and he also doesn’t move nearly as well. But Anthony does have just as good power and is more willing to mix it up. He doesn’t mess around and he tends to go right after his opponents.

With his Anthony Dirrell’s power, hand speed, and pinpoint accuracy, he’d give Ward a lot more problems than Froch did. I don’t know who will win this match-up because Anthony Dirrell is still an unknown because he hasn’t fought a lot of high visibility fights. All I know is he took apart a very good St Juste in his last fight earlier this month and was hurting him alot at the time the fight was halted due to St Juste injuring his left shoulder. I think Dirrell might be even more of a threat to Ward than Bute because of his superior hand speed and power. Dirrell hits harder than Ward and is an excellent inside fighter. His pure boxing skills may even be better than Wards.

this fight is on the horizon and you guys dont seem to understand how big it is. Ward is going into a fight with a live underdog, called "the dog". Ward will taste defeat by via ko. Wake up people, this is a big exciting fight. Froch vs ward was a long boring sloppy mess of a fight. Anthony dirrrell vs ward will be fireworks , bombs and the better boxer will win.

froch is fighting bute, probably twice. i think anthony should take some tougher fights before going after ward, hes the mandatory already so its his choice though.

andre dirrell wanted bute, but like mentioned hes taken. kessler would be a good matchup but i dont see kessler being willing to get in there with dirrell.

I think that even after just 1 year of being a boxing fan, you should learn that being more powerful than your opponent means nothing. I'm not saying you, just in general.

Some of the best fighters right now are not powerful at all. Mayweather, Ward, Hopkins, Bradley.

You have your Martinez, Pacquiao, and Klitschkos but even they have to try to outbox their opponent before getting the KO. And sometimes they don't even get the KO.

So Anthony Dirrells power means nothing to Ward if he can't even outbox him first.

had this fight taken place before the super six this could be seen as an even fight

                at this point...ward wins clearly

dirrell will probably give him a competitive fight till the 6th rd though

Why should we care if some guy named Anthony Ward is about to get KO'ed?
