Has anyone considered that they don't want to fight each other! They have their money already, they continue to hand pick their opponents! They have NO mandates that tells them they fight prior to a date. I think they are capable of defeating each other and they think so too. This all comes down to not having ONE organization that governs the sport and has a benefit program for insurances and retirements but we know the folks in power aren't buying in to that. One ruling body mandates that the top fighters in each weight class meet every 15 months, DONE! If the fighters and their managers with promoters can't get it done on paper a mediator sits down with them and its ironed out within a 30 day grace period or fines are accest. When your a participant in a sport were the consequences are emmence you need an organization that has the fighters rights first and foremost and the sports FANS in line second. Thats how boxing has lost its way its been all individual greed for years except when the boys ran it the fans were taken care of, sorta like what Vegas was and is now, a joke! Ray

Mayweather is extremely limited with time due to his legal situation, and Bob Arum and Manny Pacquiao are well-aware of that fact. If Manny's earlier comment is to be taken seriously, and he really does want to fight Mayweather, then why is he even considering those other 4 opponents?

According to Manny, May 5th is fine, and his cut is fine, so if he doesn't fight Mayweather next, then that is a blatant duck, no question.

Pac dont want none of Mayweather, and his earlier statement was utter bull**** spoken to placate his ignorant fanbase. And that is not the first time that he has been caught blatantly lying to the Filipino media.

He can wait till the 2nd week of Feb, but it has only been 4 days from when the prospect of the fight was a possibility for that date. And during that time Pacquiao was talking to his promoter about his options.
