    Good post.
This fight would kill 2 ducks with one rock, but haters gonna hate anyways...

I really hope the fight pulls through. Its been a dream of mine to watch this fight for the past 4 years. Not that I care, and it seems like Floyd would win,but the clash of the styles is what intruiges me.Could you imagine Mayweather,Cotto on the main event with Canelo fighting a decent opponent on the undercard? Your hitting up a lot of different nationalities that would buy the PPV.

Imo it's a joke because I don't see how anybody can see Cotto being competitive against Floyd. Cotto hasn't beaten anybody of any credence recently. Where is the evidence that Cotto has a chance?

Not much! He would be expected to win that fight at this point in Cottos career. I would have given him more had he fought him before he conveniently retired and Cotto took 2 beatings from Manny and Marg.

It was a calculated move on Floyds part, and it worked out. It's definitely better than Guererro but still not as credible as it would have been earlier in Cottos career.

cotto has as much of a chance as marquez or ortiz did. we know floyd is not fighting martinez, and we know both he and pacquiao have probably made history as the only two guys to ever duck each other. so what's the problem? who's he supposed to fight?

yall can't change the rules in the middle of the game...smh.....Manny's last credible win came against Cotto....thats what ppl agree on.....last time I checked, Cotto hasn't lost since....in fact he's stopped everybody he's faced since....Cotto is a LEGIT title holder at 154.....he didn't get no vacant strap as a gift this time....a 3 division champ and one of boxings's top stars.....if Joe Blow beats Cotto today....tomorrow he'll be the man.....so lets keep the rules of the game the same.....Cotto is a good win for Floyd but the critics will say it wasn't on time...it came too late.....Floyd beats Manny and the critics will say the lil' dude was too small or his desk in the senate had some paperwork on it or his case of the cramps will get some more fame.....if Floyd beats Sergio the critics will say he didn't stand and fight enough....he just won a decision...they would downplay that like the DLH win.....Money can't win the public approval battle at all imo...its a shame because the dude is a master at this game.....I appreciate his skills to the fullest....there's nobody better atm imo......Cotto is a good win imo

Anyone who regards Cotto as shot is clearly not a legitimate boxing fan, as far as I'm concerned. He looked great in his last fight - quick, excellent movement, punching hard (regardless of the imperviousness of his punches on human granite ball Margacheato) and he also looked very good in beating down Mayorga.

Well most floyd fans call cotto shot to discredit Pac's win. Let's see what they say about this. I would give floyd props if he beats cotto, cotto is still a top fighter.

I'd give him huge credit for beating Cotto, but not for merely fighting him, that's what he's supposed to do!

And I don't think this fight gets made.

If it does, Cotto to win.
