And even if it is at 160 what belt does Sergio have? The ring belt.

I think it's late for this Cotto fight as well. But you know what. I want to see it.

Floyd fights for money. Sergio does not bring that for him. Dude is about making the most money. Other then pacq it's Cotto( or even garbage azz canelo)
Out of his very own mouth Floyd admitted Martinez could be a possibility.

I'd give him credit on a good win but I think Cotto can beat him tbh.....people always want to say Cotto is no good but he still one of the best in the business. I say Cotto possibly loses a close decision or he stops Mayweather late.

Possibly? Yes. Realistically no. Dude doesn't bring the money.

I just gave Floyd credit for having an excellent jab himself.

I agree, once Floyd settles in and gets his right hand and combinations going, Cotto will be in deep trouble.

Lots of credit since him, pac, and cotto are the 3 best welterweights even if cotto hasnt been there in awhile.

It would be a decent win, its his best fight out there next to Sergio as we know Manny/Arum wants none of it. I'd be happy with this fight, he will get his props but it would have been even better had he done it before Margarito plastered his ass.

I'd be happy with it if its at 154. A 147 Cotto won't mean much since Pac already destroyed Cotto at welter. And May busts Pacquiao too much about him fighting his leftovers for him to fight Cotto at welter.

I think many of you are in the Hot Tub Time Machine when it comes to Floyd. Look, Floyd is still a great fighter, but again, this isn't a 26 year old Mayweather we're talking about here, and even more so with his fans who (allegedly) have been watching him fight from his early years, it should be pretty evident based on how he fights today in comparison to earlier on. Cotto isn't in his prime anymore, but truthfully, neither is Floyd. That's not to say either guy has one foot in the grave, but someone mentioned that Cotto hasn't done anything impressive in the last couple of years. But what exactly in comparison has Floyd done? Beat a very inexperienced Ortiz and an inactive older Mosley (who Cotto beat years prior)? I'm not trying to **** on Floyd at all, but these are definitely things to consider. I favor Floyd today, but honestly, this fight in itself can help save some of the luster for Mayweather vs Pac if Cotto gives Floyd a hell of a fight making people question if Floyd has lost a step or 2. Adds a bit of intrigue back to Mayweather vs Pac. My 2 cents...

and enough of the "leftovers" ****. if you're around the same division and you're a top fighter, inevitably you're going to fight the same guys, otherwise we wouldve never had fights between Leonard, Hagler, Hearns, and Duran.
