How much credit will Floyd get for a Cotto fight May 5th and who do you have winning.

I understand your point but I find it nauseating respectfully. Since we should be able to agree manny is scared to push bob to make this, floyd has to go to another fight.I hate this fight. I'd hate an Alvarez or Guerrero fight too. I'd rather he fought anyone else at 154 than Cotto or Alvarez, and I'd rather he fought no one at all than Guerrero. The only guys at 147 or below that I wouldn't mind seeing Floyd fight are Top Rank, so they won't be an option.
It's fine for what it is, I guess, but Floyd's far past the point where a fight like this is exciting or something to look forward too unless you are a fan. He'll show up and outclass Cotto in every way, it is what it is.
The next most profitable fight is either Canelo or Cotto. To ask floyd to not take the most prfotable option is laughable, especially when he fought the berto/ortiz winner, who would be the best opponent at 147 other than manny.
I hope you remember you are a boxing fan when manny fights next and not pay for, stream, or watch in any way. Your boy manny needs to be held accountable for this.Comment

I haven't bought a Pac fight since Clottey. And I regretted that. I haven't bothered to defend Pacquiao's career since he passed on Berto for Mosley.I understand your point but I find it nauseating respectfully. I honestly just cannot stand the idea of Miguel Cotto or Saul Alvarez in the ring with Floyd Mayweather. Honestly, he could fight anyone else at 147 or 154 and I'd like it better.Comment

In Cotto's last 31 rounds he's only lost what 6 rounds? Pacquiao beat a 145 pound tootpick Cotto while Floyd most likely will make a fight with Cotto at 150+ pounds. I'd give Floyd more credit than Manny just based on weight. He's fought NO ONE since Pacquiao killed him. There's no way you can compare the Pacquiao win over Cotto to Floyd doing the same more than two years later, when you look at Cotto's competition and performance since. He didn't exactly look great except against Margarito. He looked shockingly vulnerable against Mayorga.
Legit at 154? Based on what? He only fought Yuri Foreman.
Shockingly vuinerable against Mayorga? Thanks for that laugh.

im almost at that point too. but the other option would be to wait for the berto/ortiz winner. because besides those two both weight divisions are stacked with fighters who have done next to nothing. either way it goes floyd aint getting credit so at this point i dont really care one way or another. all of the fights that can be made outside of pac or martinez have been labeled **** fights for me.I haven't bought a Pac fight since Clottey. And I regretted that. I haven't bothered to defend Pacquiao's career since he passed on Berto for Mosley.

Floyd-Cotto is pretty damn bad. Having it on PPV makes it whack. But, it's not as bad as Pac-Mosley, that was just horrendous.
At least Cotto has a title a few wins(a couple those against shot to pieces fighters) and is a true top fighter of his division. Mosley, was pathetic.Comment
