It's the TOUGHEST hit around.
What did Freddie Roach say after Mayweather dominated Shane Mosley? He said Floyd doesn't have his legs anymore. He's fighting more flatfooted because he doesn't have his legs anymore. That was the biggest crock I've heard from a saavy veteran trainer. Now we get the real take on things from Roach. He knows that they will be unable to crack the code. Mayweather is the best counterpuncher and Manny couldn't figure Marquez out after 36 rounds of actions. It will only take 12 rounds for Pac and Roach to know they won't need a rematch. Pac gets his a55 kicked by Mayweather something fierce.

Actually, a Genius I.Q. starts at 160. Mine is 146 which is Gifted. Ring I.Q., like a lot of forms of intelligence, is hard to measure and guage through written tests/on paper. But we know when we see it like an artist who paints amazing works or a boxer who does things in the ring others cannot. Sugar Ray Leonard was one of those when he was young, you could see how bright he was through his eyes. He had that spark....and in the ring. Prime James Toney, Whitaker (not "Mount", lol!), even Duran. But Willie Pep, and Benny Leonard...they had it big time.

I knew that JMM would be a problem for Pac. How could his team not see this? Marquez won every fight since with exception to the fight with Floyd. Roach and them underestimated JMM.
They did.
I just don't see how it's fraudulent as Pac hadn't had a close fight in forever so no reason not to think he was better since Hatton as he beat his previous opponents pretty badly. Mosley, Margs, Cotto and Clottey arent' second rate and he had zero trouble with any of them and he boxed better than before.
Marquez is his kryptonite, and Marquez is a great savvy veteran who made him revert to his older style.
***** happens but no fraud going on here.
Roach overestimated Pac to the media, that I can agree with.

I think that it is technically correct to use the term " fraud " when describing Manny, but you may find the term "over-rated" to be more palatable.
The term fraud is correct, because many false achievements have been attributed to Manny by his own team, whereas, when those very same false "achievements" are extolled by others it falls under "over-rated".
" Manny is the Greatest Fighter Of All Time "
" Manny is an 8-division champion "..... despite not actually winning a title at featherweight, despite winning titles at 147 and 154 at catch-weight, and despite beating B/C-level fighters like Diaz/Hatton.
Manny could have beaten Duran " despite never actually beating a top lightweight, EVER...... GTFOH.
" Manny only fights the best "..... absolute fkn BULL**** !!
" Manny doesn't fight for money "..... more rubbish.
" Manny fights anyone, anywhere, anytime "..... rubbish, he will not fight a live dog, and when he does fight someone remotely dangerous, he needs a catchweight.
Undeserved hype, is fraudulent.
And, Bob Arum knows EXACTLY what will happen when Pac fights Floyd, which is why he will not make the fight..... so yep, fraudulent is technically correct.
Also, remember the testing problems, don't make me bring that up.

Duran vs Pac. The 1980 Montreal version of Duran would have charged out, backed Pac to the ropes and broken him down and stopped him late. Prime Hearns knockes both Pac and Mayweather the *** out!! Hearn's right to the chin levels both of them. Leonard was bigger, faster, stonger than Pac and May and would have dominated Mayweather and Pac but would have stopped Pac mid rounds, Mayweather would either be stopped late or made it to the final bell only because of his tight defence after being badly punished. Under no uncertain terms does Oscar, Pac, Mayweather, or Trinadad, Simon Brown, Donald Curry, Starling beat Leonard, Hearns, Duran.Last edited by richardt; 01-08-2012, 07:29 PM.
