Nope, Duran would have killed him. So would Arguello. He would not have been able to move up because they would have been in next division waiting for him. I won't even mention Leonard or Hearns because it's a pure mismatch even if they weighed the same. Those guys started at 147 so I don't even know why people bring them up. You're not gonna find 6'1 78 inch reach fighters at 106-130 pounds. Furthermore, if you somehow did, they would not be as legendary as Leonard or Hearns turned out.
