Maybe to make sure that he is the main option for Pac? Just to put that pressure that he gets pick?

And, even if he does leave if he is going to go on his own how does that hurt the Pac fight regardless? As long as he doesn't sign with GBP nothing is in danger because at the end of the day Arum will be in control of promoting it.

Peterson isn't with Top Rank but he's an option because Arum will be in control of promoting. Same thing with Cotto.

      Good choice.

I'm fine with Canelo or Marquez at a CW, not for his title though.

            No,

Floyd-Cotto at this stage is as garbage as Pac-Cotto II....Floyd-Cotto is 3 years a couple beat downs too late. Cotto would do it for the payday. But, that fight is whack right now, the ship has sailed for that fight.

Yea man as an A-side for a complete joke of a fight with a live HBO broadcast featuring a good fight going head to head. It did over 200k PPV buys also.

He's FAR from the top guys but he's got a nice little spot at #3 carved out for him.

Now he would have a career assasination by arum and co, We would be told how he ducked Chavez Jr by not re-signing to Arum/Top rank..

And like I said that can be debated on. Just depends on how we judge it cause there has been other boxers that have sold more than 200K PPVs and put more than 7K. Just my 2c.

Nothing is official either way but I can't see why a Pacquiao fight still can't get made. Unless Arum doesn't feel like sharing that much with Cotto.

Sure there have, but not currently in America. No one is doing those numbers in a bull**** fight on the other side of the country from where the majority of his fanbase is in all while going head to head with a live HBO WCB.

I literally can't name one other fighter going right now that can pull that off(outside of Pac and Floyd obviously)....closest would be Marquez, but not even he can pull those numbers I don't think. There were like 4,000 people at the Katsidis fight.
