david rodriguez was a name mentioned before he got slashed but i have no idea now. it will be someone who wants a payday & who is willing to train on a shorter schedule. i'd love for it to be adamek or peter but i see it being someone like maurice harris.

Arreola's fight will open the Showtime telecast on Feb 18. But with just six weeks to go until the fight, there's still no opponent mentioned anywhere.

I imagine it will be somebody decent. Most people would take the fight since Showtime pays well and it will be a chance to be seen on national TV in the US.

I think he'd be a solid Title defence for Wlad. He's in better shape than he was for Vitali and although I don't overly rate him he's one of the best challenges out there and can certainly pack a punch.

If he get's a solid win under hit belt, Wlad next.
