Who should Chris Arreola fight next?

Chris Arreola will likely fight next month, possibly on Showtime, but no opponent has as yet been named. Adamek has been mentioned as a possibility.

Chris and his promoter Dan Goossen and manager Al Haymon are looking at a fight with Wladimir Klitschko later in the year.

In my opinion Arreola should fight someone tall, like Michael Grant, Mariusz Wach, Alexander Dimitrenko, or Robert Helenius, if he's serious about preparing for the title shot against Wladimir.

    What do you think?

Arrola vs. Wach would be a good one.

Grant is looking at another fight with Botha, but for a bigger Showtime payday and to be on US national TV he might take the fight with Arreola.

But because Grant can punch, he might be seen by Arreola's management as a risk.

Looks like he'll be fighting February 18 on Showtime on the Williams/Ishida undercard on Showtime.

Not sure that even if Arreola wanted to fight some of the European based heavyweights e.g. Dimitrenko, Helenius, Ustinov, et al. , that they'd be willing to come to the states and fight.

That said, his team probably gets someone like Franklin Lawrence, Jason Gavern or an Oliver McCall type fighter. I'd be surprised if they selected a top 15 contender...

                  It would be!

But Al Heymon would never agree to it at this point. He may in the years to come, if it were for a world title.

                    Arreola-Peter then.

                    That could still be fun.
