I want to like Canelo but the last couple of fights he has disappointed me. I know he's young and he will get better and better (he has the skills and I love his patience and precision) but I don't see him beating either Cotto or Kirkland right now. I would love for either fight to happen but I think his people have felt the same thing I have his last couple of fights and will hold off on top-tier talent for now.

Cotto-Canelo is the bigger event, but Miguel is Arum's second favorite lap dog, he's not going to fight out of the Top Rank stable anytime soon, let alone against a young bull from another promotional company that most likely whoops him.
For your information: Cotto is officially a free agent and is open to fight outside the Top Rank stable. So the fight is possible and I got no clue why in your mind you think that Canelo would beat Cotto. Cotto is superior to Canelo in every ways and Canelo would get the beating of his life. For his credit at least the kid has the guts and the will to face the best competition in his division.

If Mini-Cotto was able to hurt the young champion.... if Cintron was able to connect and if Hatton was able to survive..... history will repeat itself.
bingo, I doubt golden boy is ****** enough to make either of these fights as his next fight. What they need to do is have him go get bundrages tittle or he should of fought molina or vanes a step up in competition not throw him to the wolves.

he is to patient for me and if he threw a few more punches he would be better. But in his last fight he used to imitate mayweather and practice his defence. hopefully he cuts the crap for his next fight.

I agree that Canelo beats Kirkland. Lots of people are saying that Kirkland will KO Canelo but I can't see it at all- I see Canelo tagging Kirkland right and left until he is hanging on for dear life.
