Kirkland's run won't last too long, IMO, and I agree with you on the result of a fight against Canelo.

I'd still favor Cotto over Canelo but not by much.

Golden Bum is not prepared to sacrifice it's cash cow on an experienced veteran like Cotto. Too bad. It would be a great contest.
Kirkland would be interesting because James would go after him at the sound of the bell.
That fight would tell us all we need to know about how far Saul has come.
But rest assured that the logical April opponent is Shane.
I guess that most have forgotten that Mosely wanted to quit against Mayweather.
But this is Canelo. The same Canelo who lost rounds to Alfonso Gomez.
Shane could expose some of Saul's deep flaws.
