If Angulo knew how to finish a fighter off Kirkland would have been done in the first round.

chavez jr. without a doubt. . . the HUGE size advantage is offset by the HUGE skills advantage. . . should be an evenly matched fight. . .

love to see him in there with paul williams, or canelo. . . but that won't happen. . .

If Mayweather doesn't fight Pac, Cotto should prioritise him. The best time for Cotto-Floyd was a few years ago but still, Miguel should pursue it anyway.

As a big fan, I'd like to see him face the Ortiz-Berto winner.

If neither is possible then Saul Alvarez, Khan, Bradley, would be good as long as he can make 147 without problem. It's possible that he can't but he doesn't look like a full-blown LMW to me either.

I don't really want to see him fight Chavez because if he wins, it's the sort of title-at-a-new-weight cherry picking that I hate, and if he loses it's because of size, which I'd dislike. I don't see him winning a Pac rematch and it isn't an interesting fight to me, at least compared to the other possibilities.

Vanes, K-9, Angulo, Lara, Molina would be OK but not great. Not that I don't rate those guys but I'm talking from an excitement perspective. Kirkland or Martinez would be very dangerous but I wouldn't mind that, I'd rather my favourite boxer take a risky fight and lose than a weak opponent and win.

Cotto only fights big $$$ now. There are only limited option for him now and it's narrowing even more at that weight division. There are at least couple of boxers in that division that could really give him problems. Several other would be very competitive against Cotto in my opinion. His ranking is largely based from his record in lower division. It is presumed that some of his skill set carried from previous division to here. But how much is REALLY UNTESTED IMHO.

And chavez size might be to much for jotto but i could also see jotto outbox the sht out of chavez alot of factors that come into play which make it and interesting fight. Alvarez needs to prove himself first against a fellow top fighter dont think he is ready for cotto maybe a vanes a molina a brundrage.

His next fight will probably be against Pac or Jr.

They're going to set Cotto up to win Chavez jr.'s strap at 160, and have Manny fight Cotto for the middleweight championship.
