Dirrell should still be undefeated, and if he fights Bute in CA i dont think he will get the knockout so expect him to get robbedComment

Exactly, I thought he won the fight against Froch but at the same time, he was in his backyard so it was unlikely that he'd win on the cards.Comment

You're missing a very critical piece to this timeline you lay out. Whether Dirrell faked the AA late shot is immaterial and a red herring to what happened months later...which is the fact that ambiguous medical reports on a neuro disorder led him to back out of Ward and the entire tourney. What makes me very skeptical is I remember Dirrell offering very lucid commentary at the Ward & Green fight (which was LESS than 3 months after Dirrell vs. AA) and even giving us fans an insight on how he/Dirrell will outbox Ward. Then later when the Boxing Public was getting pissed at Ward's & Dirrell's promoters for not giving us concrete pressers and promotional material (when a date for the fight was already established but no exact venue), then we LEARNED of the "neuro problems" that Dirrell CONVENIENTLY started experiencing. So to sum up, the deal of "faking" vs. AA is a complete red herring to the events that later transpired when Dirrell wanted NO PART of his "buddy" getting ready to tax that ass.
But all of that still won't take away from the dude RAW talent and Skills, I always thought that his UPSIDE is even better then Andre Ward and I still believe that...I am not going to over look that fact that he out-classed Froch and Abraham when many predicted that he would "GET KNOCKED OUT" and nobody gave him or Ward much of a chanceComment

NEVER MIND if you thought Dirrell was faking during the Abraham fight...bottom line is that he DOMINATED ABRAHAM most of that fight and it was Abraham who was ****** enough to hit Dirrell while he was down
Bute beats Dirrell based on what? Because some of you just want him to? LOL Boxing don't work like that...
It's irrelevant if Dirrell was faking or not, and it's irrelevant why Dirrell pulled out of the fight with Ward. The only thing that matters is that he is calling out Bute NOW.
Is the Canadian going to accept the challenge or not?
If he doesn't then it better be because he's fighting Froch (or Ward or Kessler.) If he fights another tomato can instead it is not going to look good for him in the eyes of most fans.Comment

Bute is the IBF champ, defended his belt like 7 times so far. If Cloud want to fight, he should drop to 168, I hate those catchweights matches.Comment

168SMW on Glenn Jonson "BEFORE" he fought Bute:

Are you being serious with this "lucid commentary" bull****?
This is like the 2nd or 3rd person I've seen who questioned Dirrell's injury because he was able to give 30 seconds of commentary 3 months after suffering a concussion.
Sidney Crosby hasnt even been able to play hockey for a year because of a innocuous hit. That doesn't mean he is unable to speak publicly or stutters and stammers like a ****** as a result of his injury.
Part of the reason concussions go undiagnosed so often is because people retain a high level of lucidity and often still function almost 100% as normal.
When you are talking about a sport like boxing there is a big difference between talking about a fight, and then actually getting in the ring and getting punched in the head. One requires a healthy brain, the other really does not.
What a joke some of you morons are.Comment

That's how you know a fighter's resume stinks when you have to say "Bute beat Fighter A worse than Fighter A had already been beaten before".
Don't be fooled by the commentary from that fight. Bute maybe won, but he wasn't clearly dominating anything. More less giving Johnson the worst beating of his career LMAO You guys are ridiculous.
Which brings me to my next point. Are you saying Bute beat Johnson worse than Hopkins did?
Please stay logged off. Thanks in advance.Last edited by BoxingGenius27; 12-29-2011, 01:43 PM.Comment
