His discipline is his only real downfall.

      Always in fighting shape

Anyone else that carries attributes in a way as adequate as Mayweather does?
What's meant by offense is "economical"?

He doesn't waste anything and it's very effective. It's also very accurate.

Floyd is extremely well-rounded. My only knock on him, is that he doesn't let his hands go more. He opts for the pot-shot approach a little too much for me. If he fought everyone the way he fought Gatti, he'd EASILY be the ATG.
It's easy to let your hands go like a maniac against someone with the defensive irresponsibility that Gatti usually has.

Against bigger guys like Ortiz, Mosley, Oscar it's important for Floyd to pick his shots and be effective at the end of all things, more so than getting a KO, as he really isn't the biggest or most explosive fighter out there, especially when he moved up from 130.

I voted "Yes". However, I have to qualify it by stating: at 130.

At 130, his power was good. Now, it's rather weak, though he can still score knockouts by surprise blows. As an example, I'd say Ali hit harder for a heavyweight than Floyd does for a welterweight.

His combination punching and footwork has also deteriorated over the years, unfortunately. His defense has improved, however... though that can be because not punching so much leaves him less open. His ring IQ has got better, as it always does over the years for intelligent fighters, and his speed and reflexes have declined somewhat.

However, 130 Floyd is probably the most well-rounded. Competition would be Salvador Sanchez... I'd say they're about equal.

Ever? Not by a long shot. Boxing didn't start in 2000; and even if it did, he'd have competition.

His heart and will to win completes the package AND His pride ...when he fought Mosley he showed heart, but his corner told him to go back to boxing and he was like, "*** it...Im not boxing anything"...His pride makes him go over and beyond like he did in that fight, also the way he gets angry...true fighters get angry in the ring and make u pay...Ortiz headbutted Floyd, and all of a sudden it brought MORE out of Floyd...more power, and he wanted to get revenge knocking him out with one punch...Marques landed one clean shot on Floyd, and he got mad and knocked him down with the same hook he landed the whole fight, yet never had the power to hurt him until then...and we all saw him get mad with mosley...THIS is what completes a fighter...those insecurities that make them go beyond to prove a point, and I actually think when he gets out of jail he will be raging...and someone will have to get the buisness
