I think the problem with this "prime" and "past prime" thing is people completely forget about where a fighter was at "at the time" of the fight.
I'm not saying that my theory can be applied to all situations. Of course it can vary. But from what I've seen on boxingscene, is multiple years pass and then Fighter A is called past prime, shot, or never did anything, but it's only because people chose to forget or really didn't know what was going on "at the time" of the fight anyway.Comment
