are we talking about Barrera or are we talking about Solis?? Obviously Barrera was/is way more known and bigger money than fighting Soto. If we go back to the fight prior, Solis, we aren't talking about popularity & money anymore, we're talking about two guys who were pretty unknown in america and solis was ranked higher than soto. You're bringing up two different fights which were completely different cases.

I was talking about Barrera from the word get. I brought up Solis to counter that silly "He didn't fight him because he was a nobody crap." LOL @ you. If you could stick to one argument (one minute its all about money, the next it's the ranking) you wouldn't be so confused. Here let me help you. Just say: "I will defend Pacquiao at ALL costs, even if it means switching arguments mid-stream." There you go.

You sound like TWAKO. Not everything is an instant comparison, genius. Try using a little context.

Don't worry, he's already on Manny's short list.

lol are these dumbasses really serious in making a case for soto getting ducked by pac?

why not just make a list of all the not-so-top fighters from flyweight to welter during pac's time in each division and call it the "fighters pac ducked list"

Yes you brought up solis and those were two totally different cases. You can try and try to make it seem like pac somehow ducked soto all you want but it just doesn't work.

in april 2007 - solis was rated higher than soto
late 2007 - Barrera was big money fight for pacquiao.

I'm sure if Barrera was available in april pac would have fought him then but he was busy fighting Marquez

Oh I see. You can have it both ways.

When Soto is the mandatory and, along with Guzman, the best available opponent, he doesn't get the fight because he's a "nobody."

But when it's Jorge Solis - who is a nobody - he gets the fight because of his "ranking."

Again, let me help you clear your confusion. Just say: "I will defend Manny Pacquiao at all costs."
