La Zorrita suffered two losses, that blimished his chances to fight anyone significant...back when both where trending 130.

By the time la Zorrita moved up to 135. Manny was fighting Ricky Hatton followed by Cotto.

Soto was at 130lbs, when Pac fought JMM rematch at 130lbs.

Soto was the #1 ranked and mandatory contender to Pac's WBC belt, but Pac vacated that belt to avoid defending it against Soto.

Soto then chased pac at 135lbs, and Pac ran from Soto to fight a FIXED FIGHT with his co-promoter (DelaHoya) at 147lbs.

Soto stayed at 135lbs for a while cause he was looking to unify belts against Juan M Marquez, but JMM is also scared to fight Soto wo he ducked him too.
