Cotto came off a split decision win over Clottey and a TKO over Jennings.

Damaged goods? Your counting Cotto as damaged goods? If that's the case why not count Ortiz as damaged goods cause he took a beating and quit like a puto against Maidana and looked like garbage against Peterson.

Come on don't twist the fact. Cotto won his next two fights after the loss to plaster Marg fight. Just like Mosley won his next two fights after the loss to Cotto fights. About the catchweight, you talk like Pac didn't move up 5 lbs at all and Cotto moved down just 1 lb with 5 months to safely shred those 1 lbs extra.

Just for your info, I'm a bigger fan of Pac and Cotto than Pbf. Merry Xmas.
I'm just giving the taste of their own medicine. Pac beating Cotto at welterweight and followed by beating Clottey was good for Pac at 147 resume but it only just takes two fights for the *****s to discredit it when beat the hell out of Mosley and Margarito.

Floyd's win over the lineal welterweight champion Mosley greater than Pacman's catchweight victory over Cotto by itself.

              floyd all day

pac fought a trained de la hoya cotto was at 144 clottey was one dimensional and mosley is pretty much done now marquez should have won

at the stage that he fought them judah hatton mosley and ortiz are solid wins

mosley was coming off an amazing performance as was ortiz hatton was undefeated and judah was a decent opponent despite losing to baldomir

when you really look at it neither has an amazing resume at welter

                  I'd say Mayweather.

                  But it's argubale IMO.

I think it's close. I was having this argument in another thread a few days ago. It's debatable, neither have a great resume at WW. But, they shouldn't be expected to have one since its not their original weight-class.

I give the edge to Floyd. I think his last two fight made him just above Pac in this weight-class. And, considering the trouble Pac had with JMM while Floyd had an easy time. Makes me personally give it to Floyd by a slight margin.

I also think that Pac win over Cotto and Floyd win over Mosley are damn near equal. Is debatable on who has the better win between those 2 win.
