I wouldnt rank any of LLs unbeaten victims in the top 10 of his resume'. W/L records are meaningless if youve never held, fought or defended a Heavyweight title. 82% = 82% is like saying 82 Euros = 82 Ukrainian Hryvnia. I cant take those numbers seriously.

82% is NOT like saying Vitali's opponents winning % is 52% like you're insinuating.. It's a cumulative total of EVERYONE they've ever faced as a whole... It's a factual statement.. your opinions of these 85 plus fighters both faced are just that.. it's your word against mine as both LL & VK have nearly identical achievements with LL slightly having the inferior numbers..... just showing resumes are near identical.. public opinion obviously ain't. I'm being factual.. you're being opinionated... it's the bottom line.

Do you not understand that nearly everybody finds the Klits boring? Pac is one of the most exciting fighters in the sport if not the most exciting in the sport. He is one of maybe 5 fighters in boxing that are actually PPV worthy. People want to see action, people want to see brawling, speed, action, disgusting KO's etc. The Klits don't provide any of that nor does the majority of the rest of the HW.

That's what the HW division has always been about, why it was almost always the most recognized division in boxing. This also goes for most of the other weight divisions, people want flash and excitement. Unfortunately a large majority of European fighters have that robotic boring style that Americans hate. Euros find it entertaining and when they hear an American say it's boring they just don't know why so they label them as just haters.

Personally there are only around 2-4 "boring" fighters that I find entertaining, one of them being Dawson, and that's mainly because I like the combos he throws. Ward is also another example of a boring fighter not being popular in America because of his style.


Wlad's fights are ALL the same, Jab, jab, lean on his opponent when they come inside (Has Wlad ever fought on the inside?), right hand, jab, jab, jab, right hand repeat. Vitali was REALLY exciting before his injury, since coming back he hasn't been.



Pac is also fighting in one of the most competitive divisions in boxing, P4P his resume blows the Klits' combined best wins out of the water. The HW division on the other hand is just terrible, it's really bad right now. Once the Klits retire, those belts are up for grabs and I guarantee you that HW champ will receive NO credit at all even if he is American.


Excuses? It's not an excuse, it's an explanation, I'm not making this up at all I can't. I told you how weak the HW division is if a guy like Seth Mitchell can just come in and start dominating, I didn't say Mitchell was going to be a future ATG and beat the Klits or anything. Like I said, Mitchell is an example of a would be American HW, guys like him are a dime a dozen.

I know you nor any other person can find another explanation as to why these American HW's from the 80s and 90s as well as LHW's and Cruisers are dominating. I already explained it to you, I can even go into WAAAAY more depth if you want.


The Klit bros don't get full credit because of their crap competition, it's as simple as that. It doesn't help that they're boring either, that REALLY hurts them. Roy Jones Jr. received A LOT of criticism for that as well, people felt he was fighting crap competition but it was just that he was so damn good he made them look like amateurs. RJJ also proved his talent by moving up and dominating in multiple weight divisions. These were legit fighters though unlike the HW division where we can see the massive decline in talent.

How is MANNY PAQUIAO more exciting & better than Vitali Klitschko.. just because you say he is... Paq wins less rds.. gets less KO'S... YET SOMEHOW HE'S SUPERIOR because he gets a chance to beat up fighters slightly bigger than him.. HAS KLITSCHKO even fought Valuev SO he can achieve the same type of thing & say he's MORE talented than bigger guys than him? SO why is he penalized for something he's NEVER BEEN afforded the opportunity to do.. let alone be successful at it like the little engine that could Pacquaio. Vitali Klitschko is THEBIG ENGINE that could & has performed MORE dominantly than Pac & throws just as many punches as him & gets hit less.. so i ask once again why is paq superior? I'll tell you why it's because of popularity & NOT performance based.

Vitali still fights the same way.. only thing that has changed is that he's even better defensively than he was before & that opponents can't get to him & get there beatdowns regardless of them trying or not. Yes.. it's obvious he throws a little less power shots than before... but that is strictly to preserve his health which was the laughingstock of boxing before he made his comeback.. he throws more shots with 50 to 60% of his power now so he doesn't lose his balance on surgically repaired knees.


Volume of punching & style are exactly the same.. he's always going to throw more leather than his opponents.. the fact that he's getting the same results with a slight adjustment in his style is akin to Mj's second threepeat where he no longer was flying as much but the success was exactly the same because of fine tuning his game to compensate for getting older. Vitali Klitschko has been a fighter all his life as a kickboxer first... this is why he has such uncanny reflexes & spacing & fighting stance.. this is why he can keep his hands low & his punches are already halfway to the target before he's even attempted to throw a punch.. respect this & stop being so PRO america.. you stated Euros stick up for them.. well i'm from NEWYORK & represent the States & realize what's going on here.

You're living in your own little Afro-Centric, ******* bubble. The opponents aren't that much worse than the opponents of past greats who dominated their weight class. Their Jab-Jab that you're talking about is simply the greatest One-dimensional style of all times. They have unlocked the key to Domination, maximizing their advantage of being tall to the fullest. Instead of wasting energy with useless combinations and movement (i.e. Ali shuffle), they have tightened up their defense and Box in a conservative manner, achieving the same result that a more active, Body punching, combination throwing fighter would, which is a TKO/KO win. Isn't it great when one can do less work and still achieve the same results as someone who works more? I'd love to have that ability, in general.

I realize I'm wasting my time responding because we're living in different Universes on this. You have your idols/preferences and I have mine. Your status quo of thinking has been drilled into your brain and that's that.

Good article. I firmly believe Wlad is the best P4P fighter on the planet. None of the bulls*it you get with Mayweather and Pacquiao. No bull**** decisions. No boasting, throwing cash around. Just straight down to work. Klitshko's dominate.
