don't be ******. First off, Rios overcomes adversity better, cuts off the ring better, every punch has bad intentions, unlike Ortiz. If you think Rios is an easy fight for Peterson, you are brain dead.

how the **** is this proof that lamont would get ****ed up by RIOS? ortiz has much more power then a rios @ lightweight. in fact rios don't even have 1 punch knock out power (even at lightweight) he must wear you down. ortiz on the other hand have one punch knock out power. the reason why rios won't be able to come close of knocking out lamont because of heart, skills, & his head movement. lamont can slip shots for 12 rounds without stopping (especially brandons slow clubbing shots) brandon is VERY VERY slow compared to khan, he has power but no where near as much as ortiz, & he's SMALLER. it will be a pleasure & a break for lamont to fight someone as slow as rios........brandon would get shut out, outclassed. & beaten...........in fact i say it's a easy fight for lamont.
Ok so Rios wore antillon down in 2 rounds and knocked acosta down with a jab. He also hurt Peterson with a jab before catching him with a left hook that sent him down.

Anyone who thinks Peterson would have a "pleasure" fighting Rios then if engaging in a toe to toe war where Peterson is badly hurt a number of times and possibly knocked out or at least battered along the way is a "pleasure" then Peterson would be in for a "pleasure" fighting Rios.

Acosta, and Antillon where very good wins. Acosta is a very well rounded Boxer with very good pop. Bam Bam's win over him impressed me more so than the Antillon win.

To gage what a Lamont/Brandon fight would look like, will be more difficult than just lookin at Brandon's last three bouts.

Also I dont think it'll be an easy fight for Lamont either, but it will be one that he can keep well within his control. The Peterson brothers fight identical, with Anthony being the bigger puncher of the two, but with Lamont being the better inside fighter of the two.

It will be interesting to see how Bam Bam works at 140. And I wouldnt be surprised to se him bring his power up with him.

But I honestly do NOT see this fight being a walk in the park for Lamont.

i didn't just "look" at brandons last 3 fights.......if you actually read my comment you would see that i broke down the styles as well. what i did do is compare his last 3 fights to the fighter that lamont is because a poster that i was responding to said that brandon would kill lamont with no problems........i set the record straight.

the peterson brothers do not fight identical. on the outside they have a identical stance. thats it. lamont has a better jab, much better head movement, much better stamina. the problem with anthony on the outside is he's not good on his toes (or slipping punches) anthony peterson has little to NO fundamentals on the outside while lamont has a vast amount. anthony peterson is more of a knock off of lamont, lamont is also much more relaxed then anthony. anthony is always screaming & trying to out muscle you. lamont follows the game plan for 12 rounds & makes the proper adjustments to beat you.....so no. they don't fight identical. similar stance, but thats where it ends. also I'm not sure that anthony even has more power then lamont. in fact i think lamont has more power then anthony because lamont's fights are at a higher weight against MUCH tougher competition. anthony also don't know what a body shot is, while lamont RIPS them.

& heres the NUMBER ONE THING THAT SEPARATES LAMONT FROM ANTHONY. anthony has actually fought no one besides rios........he's really still kind of a prospect. lamont has fought everyone. bradley, khan, cayo, ortiz.

but back to rios..........i see this as a easy fight for lamont because i feel that rios won't know what to do with lamont on the outside, & lamont will mix it up on brandon. he'll pick at him on the outside & come in on the inside & get the better of him & then go back to picking at him on the outside.........heres the thing with rios. rios needs distance. i don't buy at ALL that rios is a better inside fighter vs lamont. i think rios likes to be CLOSE TO HIS OPPONENT. but that's not inside fighting....that's just letting your hands go when you close the distance. being in your chest & letting off 5 shots to the body (while stepping to the side & wacking you with a right) thats inside fighting. you can also smother & turn your opponent on the inside & wack at him when he least expects it (which is another thing that lamont loves) thats fundamentals.........lamont is very fundamentally gifted. he does a lot of little things. he can walk forward while slipping all of your punches for goodness sakes........fundamentals.

i don't think rios will be prepared for lamonts inside & outside game.........also if lamont finds out that one thing is working through out the fight, he won't feel a need to make further adjustments. if he feels like he can just jab rios to death from the outside. he'll do that for 12 rounds.

till this very day i think ortiz would HURT rios......i think rios is just over hyped but will soon lose.........

                  ortiz wrecks him.

yea he knocked acosta down with a jab after acosta got tired WTF........

& he finished acosta after wearing him down........

rios doesn't have 1 punch ko power........he typically needs to wear you down. (ortiz has massive power & can get you out of there at all times with 1 punch)

ortiz has more power then rios...............rios is also smaller.

Ortiz is fighting at 147, Rios hasn't reached the 140 division yet. Fight not happening. Saying Rios will soon lose while not knowing who he will fight next is bias. The guy that beats Rios is going to take punishement and be hurt quite a bit in a fight with him. Rios can outwill almost any fighter at 140. Peterson (and Ortiz) have already been outwilled.
