Ortiz is fighting at 147, Rios at 140. Fight not happening. The guy that beats Rios is going to take punishement and be hurt quite a bit in a fight with him. Rios can outwill any fighter at 140. Ortiz and Peterson have already been outwilled, unlike Rios who cannot be discouraged.

Arum was already talking about Rios vs Pacquiao after the Antillon fight @ 147. He made it sound like Rios will be fighting @ 147 in 2013. The fight could happen in less then 2 years in that case.
I also think 140 will be a lot tougher for Bam Bam, he won't be the biggest guy anymore. I still think he'll be strong, but I'm interested to see how his punches are against bigger guys. I want to see Guerrero vs Rios. Neither one of them have had a fight @ 140 yet.
The other thing is Rios has shown he can be hurt. He has a great chin but Acosta had him bad in the 4th or 5th round but wasn't able to finish him off. He going to be fighting guys who hit harder now and someone will stop him imo, its just a matter of time. Maidana vs Rios is really one of the best fights that can be made in boxing, but with Maidana moving to 147 who knows.
