Wow, here we are on page 5 and you still don't realize what type of thread this is lol
Here's a tip, check NSB's first page and look around. I'm looking out for you and won't let you embarrass yourself in this thread anymore.
My point in this thread has already been made, everything that happens after doesn't matter.
Lastly, no Bute does "NOT" deserve a title shot.Comment

Whoever Ward fights next will not have a resume that can stack up against his own so I don't see why Bute doesn't deserve a shot.Wow, here we are on page 5 and you still don't realize what type of thread this is lol

No but, whoever Ward fights next can build their resume with a few good wins (i.e Bute vs Kessler, Cloud, or Dirrel), so when Ward does fight them, they actually "earned" it.Comment

So Ward should wait for these fights to happen and fight noone? Direll is his mandatory and he hasn't built a resume either. I don't think ward has to fight Bute but I also think that is the best fight for him at 168 and it is one that most fans want to see.Comment

Ward has an injury anyway. He'll be out of commission for awhile...
But whether Ward was resting or not, I would still say the same thing. Bute and a few others need to prove themselves with tough competition first before facing the SS winner.
But let's use your logic.
Why didn't Froch just stay in England and not enter the SS at all? I mean let's face it. The way some of you guys are talking, entering the SS was the ******ist thing a fighter could do.... Especially when all Froch had to do to get a title shot was stay in England and beat up on low-level opposition, right?
Why don't you realize that if Bute fights Ward next, not only does that ruin the credibility of the tourny, but I'll guarantee you that we'll never see that type of tourny again. If all fighters have to do to get a shot at the winner is stay on the sidelines, "no one" will want to enter another tourny again. They'll all be waiting for a winner.
All hate for Ward aside, I really don't see how this is so hard to understand; let alone insult anyone that feels this way.Last edited by BoxingGenius27; 12-22-2011, 11:50 PM.Comment
