I disagree. Cloud is an undefeated, mean, rugged fighter that would have a lot of momentum coming in the fight.

Cloud is perfect for Bute. He wouldn't run anywhere. The only reason Cloud doesnt have as much exposure as Froch is because Cloud can't get the top guys to fight him; which is why he's perfect for Bute.

I'm not knocking a Bute vs Froch fight. I'm just saying, let's let Carl get a few wins under his belt, then make the fight happen. Not right after Froch has been in the SS for the past 2 years.

Regarding Pac, I don't agree with his fights with Mosley or Margarito at all. I've voiced this plenty of times.

Honestly, I think Cloud vs Bute has Kirkland vs Angulo written all over it. Not because their styles are similar, but because it would be an exciting fight.

That fight would be a war with FOTY written all over it. The even better part of the fight is the winner will get his just due.

There wouldn't be any "oh, he was coming off a loss" or "oh, he just got beaten in his last fight and was in a tough tourny for the last 2 years" type comments after the fight.

Especially after this tournament turned out to be sort of a joke. Ward should have been looking to Bute even before the Froch fight since Froch basically made it to the finals by default.
